I am starting to become a hater of mankind, and here’s the reason why: we have traded critical thinking for comfortable excuses. Everywhere I look, there is a staggering lack of emotional ownership. People are increasingly refusing to take accountability for their own lives, expecting someone else to do the heavy lifting. Watching this collective surrender of individual agency is downright exhausting. We complain about our circumstances but refuse to set the hard boundaries needed actually to change them.
